The Perry County Humane Society is a Tennessee chartered not-for-profit 501(c)(3) Corporation established in 1999 for the purpose of furthering animal welfare in our county. We are presently a shelter-less society, but in June 2002 the City of Linden opened the Linden Animal Control Center for DOGS ONLY. The Humane Society is involved in the day-to-day operations of the Center by providing walks, treats, soft bedding, leashes, collars, some medications, and plain old human companionship. We strive to re-home these wonderful dogs through off-site adoptions and the Internet.
