We are a no-kill organization. We provide a loving, safe home for animals making them adoptable. We then find homes for them. Our focus is to stop the over population and find loving homes for as many as possible. We are strictly non-profit and run the business from donations. Hi..... my name is Starr. I have been a Registered Nurse for 15 years. For several years, I have bred Pomeranians as a side business. When I almost lost my mamma dog during birth, I got scared and had her spayed. It was also very hard to part with the puppies when they were old enough. I got into this business because each trip I made to and back from work, I would see several stray dogs. Some looked in pretty bad condition. My heart would go out to them. I would think to myself, "If I had a place, I would bring you home and take care of you." Well, when my son brought home 3 stray puppies and I found a puppy who had been out so long that her ribs were showing, I decided it was time to do something and not just think about it.
Hi..... my name is Derek. I got started helping my mother. Actually, she had been talking about the shelter for a long time but didn't do anything about it. She came home from work one day and I had 3 puppies that I found as I was going to the store. They were strays with their mother. I got the puppies but couldn't get the mother. My mother couldn't turn them out. That has been only since September. We have grown alot since then.
