Animal Welfare Society of Bandera Country
Animal Welfare Society of Bandera County (AWSBC) rescues animals from numerous animal control agencies as well as from the public. We are dedicated to helping stray and abandoned animals (especially ones that we know will be killed quickly) as well as those that have illnesses that other agencies can't/won't help. Our mission is to provide shelter for abandoned/abused/neglected animals as well as educating the public regarding TNR, animal welfare, and cruelty issues. Shelter rescues are first and top priorities but if space is available we will intake from the public.
