Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA has been caring for animals for over 85 years. We believe this commitment is not simply the product of a deep and abiding love for animals within our community -- it is also an expression of our deepest humanity. The SPCA's mission is to provide care and a safe haven for the community's homeless, suffering, and neglected animals, through spay/neuter and adoption programs, humane education and outreach.
