Formed in 1998, KGARL set out to improve conditions at our local animal shelter. In addition, we have successfully placed innumerable animals with rescue groups or into loving homes and have spayed and neutered countless pets. Thousands of dollars are spent annually to spay and neuter community animals. We also work to increase awareness of the plight of homeless animals in our county, also educating both adults and youth in the proper care of pets. We promote adoption, spaying/neutering and complete vaccination programs.
