Brittany rescue serves many functions. The main one is to help find suitable homes for Brittany's in need. Due to the limited number of foster homes, sometimes rescue is only able to make referrals to the shelter or owner. Another function of rescue is to educate. This involves providing information on dog ownership in general, Brittany's grooming, and training advice. We also promote responsible ownership and breeding practices. Brittany Rescue is sometimes the last chance for a Brittany. The dogs are owner give ups, strays, or come from animal shelters. Most of the dogs are young adults to seniors, with very few puppies.
