Tidewater Humane
We are NOT a shelter -- we operate the only publicly-available spay/neuter assistance program in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. We spay/neuter 8,000 animals every year through our cooperative program with 37 local veterinary hospitals. We are a private, non-profit organization that relies on public support. We began in 1984.
