Goals of the Gloucester Mathews Humane Society: Promote the welfare, improve the care and relieve the suffering of all animals. Prevent the cruelty and inhumane treatment of animals. Support the enforcement of anti-cruelty laws. Provide care and shelter for stray or homeless animals. Prevent the over-population of animals foster humane attitudes and responsible animal ownership through education. This is a not for profit, no-kill shelter.
