Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center
The ARC (short for Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center), incorporated in the fall of 2005 and maintains an adoption center inside Southridge Mall. The ARC is dedicated to assisting Wisconsin humane societies and animal control agencies facing possible euthanasia decisions by transferring in those animals for care and placement. The ARC does not euthanize animals accepted to the program except in cases of extreme health or behavior; we make a commitment to each animal for life. The ARC also places a great deal of emphasis on humane outreach and education.
