Veneta Veterinary Hospital
Veneta Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1979 by Dr. DuWayne Penfold to serve the veterinary needs of this community. In those days, ‘all creatures great and small’ were welcome. Over the years, we have shifted our focus to small animals in order to maintain consistent, high quality care. Now our days are filled with cats, dogs, rabbits, pocket pets, and the occasional avian and reptile patients. People come to us from all over Lane County, including Veneta, Elmira, Florence, Eugene, Springfield, Junction City, Lorane, Blachly, and many more. We appreciate your support and know this often means going far out of your way to get here. In return, we promise to remain a locally owned hospital committed to the care of your animals. Doctors DuWayne Penfold, Bruce Behrends and Ryan Frome are the owners of Veneta Veterinary Hospital, and as of 2009, Forest Valley Veterinary Hospital (in Cottage Grove). These practices share the same philosophy of high quality care, delivered on a very personal level, and we strive to keep veterinary care affordable when and where it is needed most.
