The Oregon Wildlife Heritage Foundation champions projects that benefit fish, wildlife, and habitat for access, education, and enjoyment by all. Since our founding we've directed millions of dollars in funding to fish, wildlife, and habitat projects throughout Oregon.
Programs
The Foundation collaborates with partners to deliver programs to children, adults, and families.
Fish Camp - a collaboration with Camp Angelos, Fish Camp is a resident camping program for youth ages 9-14. Volunteer opportunities include leading or assisting with traditional camp activities such as arts & crafts, rafting, and archery and the same for various activities related to warm and cold water fishing. Help a child learn to be a first-class angler!
Firsthand Oregon - this is a program delivered in collaboration with the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife. Participants meet an ODFW field biologist (or qualified volunteer) to learn firsthand about fish, wildlife, or one of Oregon's natural areas. Designed for adults and families, Firsthand Oregon combines travel and education in a one-of-a-kind experience.
