Director, Nina Culver established Doberman Rescue, L.A. in 1968 to provide shelter and find new homes for unwanted, discarded and abused Dobermans. The Rescue has always been a "no-kill" shelter. We are a non-profit 501c-3 organization. Located in Sun Valley, a suburb of Los Angeles California, we're the oldest Doberman rescue in the country. Our purebred Dobermans range in age from teenagers to adults to senior citizens. We periodically have puppies available. All our animals are spayed or neutered before placement. Potential adopters go through a careful screening process.
