Stray No More, Inc. began as a result of a need to place 50 dogs left without medical attention or homes after Hurricane Andrew struck South Florida, the Homestead area in August 1992. After all animals were placed, the ladies decided to form a nonprofit organization and begin to rescue animals, mainly in the Palm Beach County area, provide education to the public, offer Pets Clubs in several local schools and provide a Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Program to the public. We do not operate a shelter and the rescued pets live in foster homes until they are adopted.
