At this shelter we are able to provide rescued cats and kittens with food, shelter, medical attention, and placement for adoption with loving families. Our shelter is a "no-kill" shelter; i.e. we keep unadopted cats for the duration of their lives. It is the only shelter in the area which attempts to find "special" homes for rescued cats diagnosed with feline leukemia or the feline immune deficiency virus (FIV). The shelter itself is a unique "free-range" shelter area. Most of the cats are uncaged and can roam at will both inside of the shelter and outside in the fenced and secured garden area.
