Boxer Luv Rescue
You may also know us as the Central and Northern Arizona Boxer Rescue – we call ourselves Boxer Luv as it is shorter and sweeter. And describes how we all feel about our Boxer babies!
This has been a very exciting year of growth in our rescue. We are the only Boxer rescue operating in Central & Northern Arizona and the need for our rescue is great. We ended 2009 having saved over to 400 Boxers. This is hard for me to grasp! When I began this rescue in 1998 we found homes for maybe 25 dogs that first year and were exhausted! If I had known the enormity of the task that was to come in the following years, would I have had the courage to continue? I doubt it. Fortunately I was not alone for long- soon others joined me in this rewarding work.
