Hawaii Cat Foundation
Primarily a sanctuary for special needs (or physically challenged) cats. All cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV upon entry and are provided accommodations accordingly. Some of the kitties are considered adoptable after any physical rehabilitation and some special needs cats may be placed in homes qualified to care for the specific needs of the cat adopted. Visits to sanctuary for the purpose of socializing the resident cats residing at the sanctuary may be made by appointment. We accept new animals on a space available basis. Wait list entrance is normally 1 year. Volunteers wanted, please call shelter for information. Donations of cat related items, especially food, litter, small baby size blankets for bedding and terry cloth towels greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, we are an all-volunteer 501(C)(3) organization.
