Boone Area Humane Society
We are a non-profit organization whose purpose is ensuring the humane treatment of animals and providing animal welfare and control services to Boone, Boone County and surrounding communities. Last year, approximately 1,600 animals came through our shelter doors. We employ 2 full-time and 4 part-time people at our shelter but volunteers are a key part of the organization.
