Our primary mission at Akita Adoption and Rescue Foundation of Mid America is to provide a voice on behalf of our noble, displaced and discarded friends; to be advocates for the Akita, whether that means education (human), training (Akita and human), evaluation (both), rescue, boarding, veterinary care (Akitas), screening (both), and placement (Akitas).
