Prairie Paws Animal Shelter Inc. has served Ottawa and the surrounding counties for over 60 years. In that time, we have cared for countless animals and promoted adoptions as we have continued to grow.

We have moved into a brand new facility and have restructured some of our policies to better serve the community and the animals we care for. Prairie Paws Animal Shelter Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit meaning your donations are tax-deductible.
