Alliance for Spay-Neuter and Pet Rescue
We are a rescue group who focuses on helping the animals at our local Monroe County Animal Control. When we first started the euthanasia rate was about 80%. We have gotten a new Director who is very rescue friendly and we have cut the euthanasia rate down drastically. We provide much needed vet care to animals who not be able to get it. We strongly believe in networking with other rescue groups - the more people we hav working together the more we can save. One of our first items we got donated at the shelter wash a working washer/dryer so the animals can have bedding. We also provide low cost spays/neuters to local residents.
