Byram Animal Rescue Kindness Squad

Byram Animal Rescue Kindness Squad, Inc. (BARKS) was founded in 1973 to rescue, foster, and place stray, abandoned, abused, and injured cats and dogs. BARKS sponsors vet care and places the animals in private foster homes until they are fit for adoption. BARKS is 100% volunteer and 100% privately supported. In 2001 we placed over 350 cats and kittens and over 100 dogs and puppies.
