Massena Humane Society
The Massena Humane Society is a small shelter in upstate New York. We take in about 1000 cats and dogs each year. All of our animals are spayed or neutered before leaving our shelter. Our shelter staff consists of one manager, and 4 animal caretakers. We also have 2 Dog Control Officers serving the two communities with whom we contract. Our mission is to protect and care for domestic animals by providing shelter, cruelty investigations, rehabilitation, and informative programs educating political and consumer advocacy.
