Homeward Bound Humane Society
Our Animals Are "Homeward Bound". We are helping to save companion animals and working towards a more Humane Community, one animal, one day at a time. In doing this we are making a difference in the lives of animals and people alike. We need your support in what we do! Together we CAN make a difference.
We provide a free spay/neuter program for senior citizens in Anson County. We also provide a low cost spay/neuter program for income assisted residents in Anson County. We provide foster care to homeless animals until they are adopted. We supply "Food4Paws" for Meals on Wheels. We do adoptions at PetSmart on Rae Rd. in Charlotte. We now have a program called PETS. This stands for People Enjoying Temporary Snuggles. Dogs visit a local nursing home two times each month to engage the residents and offer love and comfort.
