Valley River Humane Society

Valley River Humane Society is a wonderful facility staffed by caring individuals whose sole purpose is to help orphaned animals find a forever home. These animals have either been rescued or owner surrendered, often due to the economy. VRHS actively promotes spaying and neutering of all animals in order to reduce overpopulation. Successful Animal Control is another key objective of VRHS. The VRHS in Cherokee County is supported entirely by DONATIONS of caring citizens, Volunteers who give their time and by proceeds from our Thrift Store. We work with Clay and Graham Counties and both counites pay for the services we render. We invite you to visit our facility and see for yourself the result of the hard work by our staff and volunteers.
