The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs
The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs is a foster network and small in-home sanctuary dedicated to the rescue, adoption, and lifelong care of senior dogs. Our long term goals include a permanent sanctuary featuring K-9 Cottages, a pairing of senior volunteers and senior dogs living in small homes on sanctuary land. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered prior to placement. Senior dogs are often overlooked in traditional shelters and are among the first to be euthanized. We believe that senior dogs are excellent companions. The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs also provides therapy dog training for some of our permanent residents through Therapy Dogs International.
