Animal Trustees of Austin focuses on rescuing animals from the city/county pound, and places them in foster homes while seeking qualified adoptive placements. ATA also operates a low-cost spay/neuter clinic and immunization clinic in an attempt to sterilize and vaccinate as many animals as possible.
