Our society works in connection with the county shelter to rescue and foster animals where they will be adopted to homes. This county observes the WV code that states that strays must only be kept 5 days before disposed of. Surrendered animals have been killed that day prior to our involvement. We encourage rescue groups that will transport to shelters that will spay/neuter and find homes for our animals.
