The Navajo Nation Veterinary Program was established in 1982, to provide low cost, quality veterinary services to the Navajo People. At that time, the Window Rock Clinic was established. In 1988, The Tuba City Veterinary Clinic was created, followed by the Crownpoint Veterinary Clinic (1988--Closed in 1995), the Shiprock Veterinary Clinic (1989) and the Chinle Veterinary Clinic (1993). All of these clinics are equipped to provide veterinary services to the agency communities.
