We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected animals in the coastal areas of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. Volunteers always welcomed!
Hardin County Humane Society members work to improve the lives of companion animals in our community. We hold adoption days, volunteer at the city shelter, investigate cases of abuse/cruelty/neglect, foster and transport.

This city/county facility opened fall, 2000. The dogs are all housed on concrete floors. The cats are all in metal cages. The animals truly need soft bedding for comfort and for warmth in the winter.
